My scientific training rapidly focused on marine biology and aquariology (Higher Technical Diploma in Sea Engineering from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Méties).
I acquired my professional experience in the major French aquarium museums (Musée d'aquariums des Arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie in Paris, Société Coutant Aquarium de la Rochelle, Aquarium de la Foundation Ricard de l'Ile des Embiez)
Practising the plastic arts and landscaping arts, underwater photography and fishing expeditions developed my curiosity and then my interest in aquatic ecosystems and their surroundings (mangroves and coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, posidonian herbariums, the Mediterranean sea floor, peat bogs, marshes, epiphytic plants, mosses, etc.)
I then developed a concept I call "ecosculpture": the combination of plants and terrestrial micro-flora with the aquatic environment, within a composite rocky sculpture, a veritable life-organising biotope. This sculpture is the result of perfection of manufacturing processes for high-performance rocky structures that can host and facilitate plant and animal life.
Eight years of experimenting on more and more sculptures lead to the creation of the PLD Workshop in 1997.
I now approach each new project with aesthetic, technical and biological quality requirements, retaining the taste for new solutions and exclusive productions
